The war has posed a difficult question for communities: what to do with facilities that lack shelter? We often hear about schools, kindergartens, and hospitals being closed simply because there is no safe place to go during the emergency. But can we afford to lose education for children and access to healthcare for people at this critical time?

Shelters are an alternative to closure

Such structures as “CAPONIR” have already proven their effectiveness in communities and enterprises throughout Ukraine. They provide protection for dozens of people at a time, have ventilation, emergency exits, hermetic doors and meet civil defense standards.
